Pedal the Cause PSA
Year six of Pedal the Cause in San Diego and year six of my participation. Regardless if you have participated before I not, I ask you to get involved. Help us, by supporting the riders with a financial contribution, raise money for this dedicated, important and focused cause!
As you or may not know, I'm myself a cancer survivor. In my early teens I suffered from osteosarcoma in both my upper left arm as well as both my lungs. After a year of intense chemo and numerous surgeries I luckily survived, not unscathed, but alive and able to try and help other facing this challenge. Please help me, help the fight against cancer.
I am participating in the the Pedal the Cause San Diego cycling fundraiser on November 17, 2018. I will ride 100 miles across San Diego's compelling landscape to raise money to fund the best research ideas at UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center, Salk Cancer Center, and Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute.
Please help me in this journey to find a cure by donating to my ride. I am aiming to raise over $5,000! I need your help!
We have a unique opportunity in San Diego to make a difference. We are home to three NCI-designated cancer centers that have created a formal collaboration to leverage their distinct and combined talents- it's called the San Diego National Cancer Institute Cancer Centers Council, or C3. Through Pedal the Cause, the C3 and thousands of people will come together to raise funds for cancer research that creates faster and better treatments for cancer patients - in San Diego and around the world.
A world without cancer!
