Why I Participate:
I am Alex Kilmer, SDG&E Employee, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, and avid cyclist. I'm riding because raising funds to cure cancer is very important to me. This year I have lost yet another relative to bone and brain cancer so this year I'm dedicating my ride to Jim Petz from Clovis, CA. In 2017, the American Cancer Society estimated 1,688,780 new cancer cases and 600,920 cancer deaths in the US; In 2018, they estimate 1,735,350 new cancer cases and 609,640 cancer deaths in the United States; These numbers are going the wrong direction. Lets help fund the research to stop cancer so we don't become one of these statistics.
I'll be riding the 100 mile route on Saturday November 17th.
Thank you for your generous tax deductible donations, and thank you for your support.
