Why We Participate:
With over 30,000 employees worldwide and cancer impacting 40% of the world's population, chances are that more than 12,000 current Qualcomm employees will develop cancer in their lifetime and virtually all of us will have cancer impact someone close to us. So we ride in honor of the thousands of our worldwide employees, their families and friends fighting this horrible disease.
Padres Pedal the Cause has the mission of providing funding for cancer research at Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego, Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute, the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, and Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego through their annual cycling fundraiser in hopes that the collaborative research funded by this event will ultimately lead to a cure for cancer.
Please help us in our effort to raise money for Padres Pedal the Cause by making a donation. 100% of all net proceeds STAY in San Diego and goes directly to cancer research.
